G.-B. 2008. In 1960's Britain, a colourful subculture of radio broadcasters sprang up in response to the BBC's near dearth of rock'n'roll, setting up pirate radio stations on boats off England's shore, and creating a 24-hour-a-day pop music phenomenon.
